Nestled along the beautiful Southern California coastline, Seashore Drive in Newport Beach offers some of the area’s most stunning ocean views and high-end real estate. This sought-after road runs along a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, providing easy access to Newport Beach’s best beaches, parks, trails, and exclusive neighborhoods. Read on for your complete guide to experiencing the best of the Newport Beach coast along Seashore Drive.

The Perfect Seaside Retreat

What first draws visitors to Seashore Drive is the chance to enjoy magnificent ocean vistas while driving, walking, or biking along a peaceful coastal route. With the glittering Pacific stretching out to the horizon on your left and sprawling beachfront homes and neighborhoods on your right, Seashore Drive feels removed from the bustle of the city.

Yet it connects easily to Newport Beach hotspots like Balboa Peninsula and Corona Del Mar via routes like Ocean Boulevard and East Coast Highway, making it a centrally located coastal retreat. Spend a perfect seaside afternoon taking a leisurely drive up the coast with plenty of places to pull over and savor the ocean breezes.

Beach Access for Miles

While many California coastal enclaves restrict beach access to residents only, Seashore Drive boasts over four gorgeous beaches open to the public along its winding route. Some of the best family-friendly beaches like Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort beach offer parking and amenities or you can head north to Corona Del Mar State Beach with its wide open shoreline and volleyball courts.

You’ll also drive past pocket beaches tucked away below coastal bluffs, only accessible via stairways dotting the road. Feel like you have your own private slice of paradise when you claim one of these secluded stretches of sand.

Glimpses into High-End Coastal Living

In addition to beaches galore, Seashore Drive provides prime opportunities for house-gazing Newport’s Beach’s multi-million dollar properties. Massive glass windows, sprawling decks with infinity pools, and glittering rooftop patios capture your attention.

Driving by, you may also spot coastal wildlife out basking on private docks, playing in surf, or soaring over nearby estuaries inside protected nature reserves. The road travels past several public coastal view parks and vista points as well for uninterrupted ocean panoramas when you want to stop and take it all in.

Nearby Hiking Trails Galore

Just across major intersections like Jamboree Road or East Coast Highway sit entrances to Newport Beach’s most renowned coastal hiking trails as well. Top-rated routes like the Morning Canyon Nature Trail or Buck Gully Reserve Trail start right off Seashore Drive, perfect for sunrise treks or midday nature breaks.

Meandering dirt paths lined with native chaparral plants wind downhill before opening up to stunning ocean outlooks from secluded coves and hillsides. If you’re not local, they also connect easily to trailheads like the one-of-a-kind Crystal Cove Historic Beach cottages and tide pools further south.

Culinary and Shopping Destinations

All those incredible ocean vistas and salt air breezes along Seashore Drive are bound to whip up an appetite as well! Luckily, savvy locals and visitors alike know this coastal route provides easy access to some of the best dining and culinary destinations Newport Beach has to offer just one or two streets over.

Top-rated brunch cafes, fast-casual Mexican restaurants, and farm-to-table seafood joints attract crowds. Many restaurants boast sprawling outdoor patio seating just across from the shoreline. Or head inland just a bit on East Coast Highway to shop the latest luxury brands at Fashion Island or dine al fresco at waterside restaurants along Newport Harbor.

Things to Know Before You Go

Now that you’re excited to experience this one-of-a-kind coastal drive in Newport Beach, keep a few key tips in mind:

– The route along Seashore Drive is quite narrow in parts without designated bike lanes. Use caution when pulling off to scenic outlooks and keep a wide berth for passing bicyclists.

– Find parking for beach access and trailheads early on weekends. Prime spots fill up fast but more open parking waits just a short walk or bike ride away.

– Remember Seashore Drive runs past exclusive neighborhoods. Respect no trespassing signs posted along private beach accesses while still enjoying ocean views.

– Give yourself at least 90 minutes to experience the full route by car. More time allows for pulling over at vista points and taking scenic detours off the main road.

With sweeping ocean vistas around each bend mixed with easy access to beaches, parks, trails, shopping and dining, Seashore Drive offers the ultimate Newport Beach lifestyle experience. Spend an afternoon immersed in coastal California bliss as you cruise along this one-of-a-kind scenic route.

With over 3 miles of stunning sandy shoreline, high-end boutiques and restaurants, and luxurious ocean-view properties, Manhattan Beach in Los Angeles County encapsulates the classic Southern California lifestyle. This beachside haven also benefits from ideal weather nearly every day of the year.

While many only associate Manhattan Beach with hot summer days, this seaside community actually enjoys comfortable temperatures, low humidity and abundant sunshine during all seasons. Whether you’re planning beach days, outdoor activities or simple relaxation, Manhattan Beach weather delights year-round.

Spring Weather in Manhattan Beach
March – May

As winter rains fade, Manhattan Beach springs to life from March to May with warmer yet comfortable temperatures in the mid 60s to low 70s. Sunny days become more frequent, and ocean breezes keep the beachside climate pleasantly cool.

Spring sees Manhattan Beach locals and visitors alike returning to popular outdoor attractions like the Strand biking path, golf links and tennis clubs. The off-season rates also make spring an affordable time for a luxurious beach getaway. Pack layers for evenings and beware of “May Gray” ocean clouds occasionally blanketing the coastline.

Average spring temperatures range from:
March: 60°F – 68°F
April: 60°F – 72°F
May: 62°F – 74°F

Summer Weather in Manhattan Beach
June – August

From June through August, Manhattan Beach positively radiates all the best elements of a classic SoCal summer. Endless sunny days with temperatures climbing into the mid-70s make Manhattan Beach’s nearly 3 miles of wide fine-grained sand perfect for beachgoing several days a week.

The ocean temperatures rise to the mid to high 60s, creating ideal conditions for swimming, body surfing, stand up paddleboarding and other watersports. Volleyball courts host competitive matches, kids build epic sandcastles, and locals flock to popular beach hangouts for sunset socials.

In the evenings, temperatures may drop into the mid-60s, so bring layers if dining alfresco or strolling under the glowing Manhattan Beach Pier. For true Mediterranean climes, schedule a summer visit to this coastal gem.

Average summer temperatures range from:
June: 68°F –- 75°F
July: 70°F — 78°F
August: 70°F — 80°F

Fall Weather in Manhattan Beach
September – November

While many California beach towns fade after Labor Day, Manhattan Beach continues to shine in the fall. Warm sunny days in the 70s last through October, and ocean temperatures hovering in the mid-60s keep beach days irresistible.

The summer crowds and hotel rates also dip in fall. With kids back in school, retired snowbird couples, young travelers and deal-seeking families move in for a more relaxed, good-value beach retreat.

Fall sees more cloud coverage slowly creeping in and temperatures gradually cooling. But with 250+ days of sun per year, Manhattan Beach still outshines most U.S. destinations even as the calendar inches toward winter. Just bring layers for oceanfront evening strolls.

Average fall temperatures range from:
September: 68°F — 78°F
October: 64°F — 74°F
November: 60°F — 72°F

Winter Weather in Manhattan Beach
December – February

Don’t let the word “winter” fool you – a beach day in Manhattan Beach remains possible even on winter weekends! Benefiting from its west-facing beaches on the Pacific, winter daily highs in Manhattan Beach hover in the 60s with brilliant blue skies still making frequent appearances.

Storm swells kick up bigger waves, creating prime surfing conditions that attract wetsuit-sporting surfers to popular breaks like El Porto. Take advantage of off-season hotel rates to enjoy peaceful beach walks, shop at less crowded boutiques, and dine at renowned restaurants without reservations.

While evenings and early mornings feel chilly in the 50s, lunchtime warms enough for patio dining, and afternoons still allow T-shirt & shorts attire in the winter sunshine. For the quintessential winter escape with 4-seasons fun, Manhattan Beach can’t be beat!

Average winter temperatures range from:
December: 58°F — 68°F
January: 56°F — 67°F
February: 56°F — 65°F

Planning Your Visit

Thanks to this desirable Mediterranean climate, Manhattan Beach provides perfect weather for planning activities anytime of year. Yet be ready for those sprinkles of “May Gray” and “June Gloom” if ocean clouds roll in to obscure the sunshine for days at a time – an unpredictable pattern.

Pack plenty of lightweight layers to adapt to changing temps, especially if planning evening bonfires, pier strolls or patio dinners when ocean mist cools things down fast. And don’t forget the sunscreen and sunglasses to protect against year-round UV rays!

No matter the season you choose, Manhattan Beach promises refreshing ocean breezes, low humidity, light jackets at most and plenty of golden sunny days for enjoying this coastal Southern California playground. For endless summer vibes with 4-seasons flexibility, you can’t top Manhattan Beach weather!

Connected to the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve wetlands, this beach has a peaceful, secluded vibe despite sitting in the middle of Huntington.

Go tidepooling to spy tiny crabs, anemones and other marine life stuck in rocky pools when the tide goes out. Search for rare birds in the marshlands and enjoy a picnic in the sand. Early mornings and sunsets see serious surfers wading out for clean right and left breaks, especially by the Brightwater development.

With picnic tables, volleyball courts, lifeguard stations and parking lots dotting Bolsa Chica State Beach, it provides the full beach experience just minutes from downtown Huntington yet retains its local and natural allure.
Bolsa Chica Dog Beach
For four-legged friends, the south stretch of Bolsa Chica known as Bolsa Chica Dog Beach welcomes leash-free dogs to roam, play fetch, and splash through the surf. One of the few off-leash dog beaches in Orange County, the sand and water stays packed with frolicking Labradors, zooming Greyhounds, wet and sandy Goldendoodles and more!

While dogs take center stage, their owners can sunbathe on the sand or toss tennis balls into the waves for endless entertainment. Arrive early on weekends for lighter crowds, and bring plenty of towels and fresh water for muddy pups. Bolsa Chica Dog Beach provides the ideal spot for dogs to make new furry friends and exhaust themselves in the sea and sand.

Huntington State Beach

Want to ditch the surfboard and volleyball crowds? Find serenity at the 2-mile long stretch of Huntington State Beach extending from Beach Blvd/Pacific Coast Highway down to the Santa Ana River jetties where the river meets the ocean.

Large beach houses front the wide sandy beach, which stays relatively peaceful and empty year-round. Picnic areas welcome you to enjoy lunch in the shade. Jog down the compacted sand parallel to the surf, fly kites in the sea breeze or hunt for shells and smoothed glass tossed ashore by the tides.

Thanks to the Santa Ana River jetties buffering big waves, surfing and boogieboarding rarely occurs at this end of Huntington State Beach, making it family-friendly for sand castles and beach play. Appreciate gorgeous sunrises and sunsets any time of year without the Huntington Pier crowds!

Sunset Beach

Keep cruising down Pacific Coast Highway to sleepy Sunset Beach with its beige sands, beach cottages and mellow surf community roots. The 1.5-mile-long Sunset Beach stretches from Anderson St. to Warner Ave. where a small guarded swimming area lets visitors enjoy calm waves lapping the shoreline.

Around the Sunset Beach neighborhood, you’ll find longtime residents and surfers who cherish this tight-knit surf enclave. Stroll down the beach to grab fish tacos at Captain Jack’s or stop for poke bowls and acai bowls at Sugar Shack.

Then spread a blanket out on Sunset’s peaceful beach to soak up the balmy air and salty breeze, knowing you’ve discovered one of Huntington’s best hideaway beaches far from the elementry crowds. Time a visit for radiant pink and tangerine sunsets over the gently rolling waves for guaranteed magic.

No matter which stretch of Surf City sand you take to, the beaches of Huntington Beach promise laidback California sunshine, surf culture and seaside beauty at its finest. Grab your sunnies, wax down your surfboard or beach cruiser, and discover why Huntington remains a premier beach destination that keeps visitors returning year after year.

Gorgeous weather, a sandy environment, and a ton of surfers combine to create a relaxed vibe that can be enjoyed all year long. The best time to visit Huntington Beach is during the spring or summer months when the weather is warm, and the scenery can remind you of the lyrics to classic surf rock songs. This seasonal weather and climatic guide can assist you in determining the best time to visit and enjoy Huntington Beach.

Summer in Huntington Beach (June through August)
Best Time to Visit Huntington Beach
With an average of 11 hours of sunshine each day and temperatures in the 70s to 90s, this is the best time to visit Huntington Beach.

It’s summertime, the driest season, and the Pacific Ocean is at its warmest (though it’s still rather cool).

It’s widespread knowledge that this is true so that you won’t be the only one running away to the beach.

There will be many more people at the beaches and in the hotels, bars, and restaurants that line them.

All the essentials for a day of fun in the sun, including swimwear, hats, sunglasses, wetsuits, sunscreen, and anything else you might want to use, should be brought along.

Board shorts, T-shirts, and flip-flops are practically uniforms, even away from the beach. It’s also recommended that you bring a sweater or light coat for the evening.

Keep in mind that without the cooling effects of the ocean or the coastal winds, the temperature will rise by as much as twenty degrees as you travel inland to places like Disneyland or the Irvine Spectrum Center.

When planning a trip to the sights, include cooling essentials like a buff, a personal mister or fan, and some tank shirts.

Fall in Huntington Beach (September through November)
Best Time to Visit Huntington Beach
Besides the appearance of pumpkin farms and the introduction of pumpkin spice lattes to the menus of coffee chains, there aren’t many outward indications that autumn has arrived.

Even at night, the temperature and humidity rarely drop below comfortable levels, so it’s still possible to enjoy a stroll on the beach or pier, a bike ride along the eight-mile multi-use beach route, or dinner on a restaurant patio.

There is a little decrease in water temperature beginning in September, and by November, the ocean has cooled to the low 60s.

In October, we see a decrease in daily brightness of a few hours and the return of overcast mornings.

Without a doubt, flip-flop weather persists. Although to be fair, in California, you can pretty much always get away with wearing flip-flops.

To stay warm in the fall, layering is a must. You’ll see a lot of people wearing board shorts, hoodies, flannels, and flip-flops.

As a general rule, shorts and t-shirts with buttons down the middle are fine to wear to bars and restaurants.

Maxi skirts, jumpsuits, Hawaiian shirts, and blazers (with denim, of course) are the way to go if you want to look more put together.

Winter in Huntington Beach (December through February)

Even though it’s winter, temperatures are milder here than they are in the Midwest, the East Coast, or Canada. (This is why snowbirds from our northern neighbor flock here.)

Daytime lows are lowest in December, although January often has colder overnight lows.

We’re talking low 40s here, so bundle up! Between the months of December and March, the majority of the average annual precipitation falls.

Only January and February regularly get more than two inches of precipitation. Keep in mind that it will be about five to ten degrees colder if you go inland.

What you pack for your winter trip to Surf City will likely vary depending on where you call home.

Nighttime temperatures of 40 degrees Fahrenheit require extra layers of clothing for people from warmer climates such as California, Arizona, and the Caribbean.

Ugg boots with a fleece or hoodie are ideal for a stroll along the beach or after a swim. If you’re from Minnesota and just endured a series of snowstorms, this may still be cause for joy… and shorts.

Most people will benefit from using an umbrella because it is the wettest period of the year.

However, residents of Seattle and Portland look down their noses at California’s relatively light rain and choose to use raincoats instead.

Spring in Huntington Beach (March through May)

Although spring is generally beautiful due to its flowering plants, brightening skies, and milder temperatures, March is sometimes cold and wet (1.76 inches on average).

Like other coastal enclaves in Southern California, the morning marine layer tends to linger, and the gloom of May and June might dampen plans for a day at the beach.

However, they can be useful if you plan on visiting any of the area’s amusement parks, where long lineups are commonplace, and there is little to no shade available.

And since the scorching summer sun is hiding behind clouds at that point, it’s a fantastic time to explore the 1,300-acre Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve and take some stunning photographs.

In order to enjoy the many outdoor activities available or to brave the crowds at theme parks like Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm, comfortable sneakers are necessary.

Wearing warm, comfortable clothing is a must, whether you’re going to be sitting by the fire pits on a beach or walking back from supper.

Many hotels warm their pools in the spring, so you’ll still need to pack your swimwear. If you plan on trying out the waves, you’ll also need a rashguard or wetsuit.

After spending even a short amount of time in the Pacific, most people will want to rent one, so that’s another option to consider.

Best Time to Visit Huntington Beach
Best Time to Visit Huntington Beach
Among the months of the year when people visit Huntington Beach, California, USA, July is the busiest.

Hotel and airfare rates are at their highest during these months, but you can save money by booking early.

In the month of December, Huntington Beach sees hardly any tourists. Those who are flexible enough to travel can expect to pay the lowest prices.

Nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the San Joaquin Hills in Orange County, Laguna Beach is a gorgeous seaside community known for its pristine beaches, secluded coves, tide pools, and rugged cliffs. With a temperate Mediterranean climate, Laguna Beach offers ideal weather for beachgoing and outdoor exploration year-round. However, the town sees more tourists during certain seasons and holidays. Read on to discover the details on the best times to visit Laguna Beach based on weather, crowds, events, and hotel rates.

The Shoulder Seasons – Spring and Fall

Spring (March, April, May) and fall (September, October November) bring moderate temperatures and smaller crowds, making these “shoulder seasons” ideal times for a Laguna Beach getaway. With daytime highs in the 60s to mid-70s Fahrenheit, you’ll enjoy comfortable weather for taking in the scenic coastal views while hiking along the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park trails or strolling through the downtown art galleries. Whale watching cruises run through the spring and you’re likely to spot migrating gray whales spouting off the coast. September and October see summer crowds dwindle, hotel prices dip, and warmer ocean temperatures lingering, while November ushers in holiday festivities.

The Summer Season

From June through August, Laguna Beach enters peak tourism season with sunshine and high temperatures ranging from the low 70s to 80s Fahrenheit. This is the busiest time in town and when hotel rates and airfares are usually at their highest. With virtually perfect beach weather, you’ll enjoy swimming, surfing, stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking along the more than 30 coves and beaches etched into Laguna’s craggy shoreline. To escape the crowds, head to lesser-known beaches like Treasure Island, El Morro, or Victoria Beach only accessible via pathways and staircases. Or, hit the hiking trails early before the afternoon heat. Summer also brings free concerts, art festivals and parades. Schedule around the Pageant of the Masters performance art show and Festival of Arts showcase running July through August.

The Holiday Season

Laguna Beach celebrates holidays in style with community decorations, events and cheer. Halloween brings trick-or-treating and costumes downtown, while Thanksgiving launches the holiday season with light displays. In December, catch parades, seasonal concerts, food and toy drives and festive hotel packages. Temperatures remain mild, averaging in the 60s F, but colder ocean temperatures limit beach time. Still, with fewer visitors than summer, attractions and trails stay less crowded for taking in Laguna’s seasonal charm. Or hit the slopes and head one hour inland to snowboard and ski in the San Bernardino Mountains once winter storms roll through.

Ideal Months to Visit

While worthwhile any time of year, May, June, September and early October arguably present prime times for a Laguna Beach escape with a balance of pleasant weather, manageable crowds, and more budget-friendly hotel rates before peak season pricing. Temperatures are conducive for beach days and ocean sports as well as hiking and sightseeing. The shoulder seasons also see fewer spring breakers and families visiting in the summer months so downtown stays more laidback. Festival lovers may specifically want to visit in July or August though to catch acclaimed Laguna Beach art events.

What to Do in Laguna Beach

This coastal oasis offers a bounty of ways to embrace the SoCal vibe regardless of when you visit:

– Soak up the sun at Main Beach with the iconic Lifeguard Tower marking downtown
– Scuba dive and snorkel around Heisler Park’s Giant Kelp Forest
– Tour the coastal artist colony and find hidden public art sculptures
– Catch a performance at the Laguna Playhouse, America’s oldest continuously run theater
– Hike the 7,000 acre Laguna Coast Wilderness with ocean vistas
– Shop for handmade crafts, fine art and fashion in downtown galleries
-Splash around the tide pools of Crystal Cove State Park’s Environmental Study Area
– Whale watch and check out sea lions as they lounge around Heisler Rock
– Wander hidden pathways to secluded beaches like Diver’s Cove and Treasure Island
– Check the event schedule for arts festivals, food feasts and holiday happenings

Where to Stay

Laguna Beach accommodation runs the gamut from luxury oceanfront resorts to intimate inns, budget-friendly hotels and charming vacation rentals. For awesome views, check availability at The Surf & Sand Resort, Montage Laguna Beach or scenic splurge options neighboring downtown. Or get more bang for your buck at The Laguna Beach House Balcony Views Hotel and Laguna Beach Inn. For extra space and privacy, book a whole rental property through Vacasa or Airbnb. Wherever you choose, secure lodging early if eyeing peak seasons.

Start Planning Your Laguna Beach Getaway

With stunning natural surroundings, a breezy coastal vibe and plenty on offer from art to adventure, Laguna Beach guarantees memorable moments any time of year. Avoid the height of summer or holidays for smaller crowds and potential hotel deals or embrace the bustling energy during annual arts festivals and events. Either way, Laguna Beach offers the quintessential SoCal escape just an hour from Los Angeles and under two hours from San Diego or Palm Springs.

Known for its beautiful beaches, scenic harbor views, and abundance of sunshine, Redondo Beach is a coastal paradise located along the southern shores of Los Angeles County. In this weather guide, we’ll give you the lowdown on what to expect weather-wise during your visit to Redondo Beach during different seasons and provide tips on how to best enjoy Redondo given current conditions. Read on to plan your beach days accordingly!

Spring Weather in Redondo Beach

Springtime signals the beginning of prime beach season with sunny days reaching the mid 60s to low 70s. As the rainy season wraps up in April, March and April still see some scattered showers with cloud coverage and an average of 2-3 inches of rain per month. Pack layers if visiting early spring as nights and mornings can still get chilly with temps in the 50s. The ocean temperature begins warming up into the mid to high 60s, pleasant enough for quick dips, surfing and stand up paddleboarding. Expect less crowds at the beaches too compared to summer. As spring transitions to summer in May and June, daylight hours increase to 14 hours per day with mostly clear blue skies and average highs climbing to the 70s. Ocean temps break into the high 60s, more comfortable for all-day beachgoing. Bring sun protection as the sun gets stronger during this shoulder season.

Insider Tips:

– March/April showers bring May flowers – check wildflower bloom reports at the Palos Verdes Peninsula and Torrance Redondo Dunes
– Enjoy LA County spring breaks without summer crowds
– Whale watching tours spot gray whales migrating north

Summer Weather in Redondo Beach

Bask in sunny summer days with virtually no precipitation from June through September. With over 14 hours of daylight, starting in early June, prepare for mostly sunny skies with temperatures sustaining in the mid 70s to low 80s inland and upper 60s to mid 70s right along the waterfront. August and September mark the warmest stretch. The cooling ocean breeze helps keep Redondo Beach pleasant during heat waves affecting other parts of LA County. Ocean temperatures peak at 65-73 degrees from July to early September, prime for swimming, body surfing, surfing, stand up paddleboarding or kayaking within the northern limits of the horseshoe-shaped Redondo Beach harbor and pier.

Insider Tips:

– Arrive early on weekends to claim beach parking and space
– Attend a Seaside Lagoon summer concert
– Stay for the sunset after a beach day
– Extended evening hours at the Redondo Beach Pier

Fall Weather in Redondo Beach

As kids return to school post Labor Day weekend, tourist crowds dissipate making September and October ideal months to enjoy this coastal oasis. The Mediterranean climate ensures plenty of temperate days in the 70s boasting 10-11 hours of daily sunshine mixed in with some cloud coverage, cooler temperatures in the 60s and more frequent days with rain averaging up to 2 inches accumulated rainfall per month. Make room in your luggage for pants, sweatshirts and light jackets to bundle up as evenings, nights and early mornings dip down to the 50s. Ocean temps also gradually cool off, averaging in the 60s through October and more refreshing for water sports. The first storm swells kick up waves signs of the coming winter surf season.

Insider Tips:

– Look for travel deals as tourist season winds down
– Great time for boat charters and fishing excursions like whale watching and wildlife adventures to Catalina Island
– Enjoy outdoor concerts or movies in the park

Winter Weather in Redondo Beach

Temperatures continue dropping in November although bright sunny days in the 60s occur between storm systems rolling in from the Pacific. At only 10 hours per day, daylight is at its shortest during the winter solstice in December making it feel colder than the average high of 65 degrees. Chilly temps in the 40s mark most mornings and nights. With the rainy season ramping up, expect to encounter more frequent rains averaging 4-5 inches accumulated precipitation monthly from December through February. Grey stormy overcast skies prevail when rainfall hits while cloudy cooler days in the 60s occur between storms. While rare, rainfall could also fall moderately to heavily during an “atmospheric river” weather phenomenon. During the day wind and waves whip up as storm systems pass through allowing for epic surfing conditions. Light jackets and layers become wardrobe staples with beanies, gloves and scarves needed for nights out around the harbor.

Insider Tips:

– Pack jackets, umbrellas and waterproof boots during winter
– Enjoy holiday attractions like the Redondo Beach Pier Winter Wonderland and seasonal harbor cruises
– Winter is prime storm watching season
